Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

Orbit Hop does not ask who you are. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. Your progress stays on your device. The one exception is advertising: the game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google receives data when it does. This page explains exactly what that means.

Who is responsible

Orbit Hop is published by an individual developer. For any question about this policy or your data, write to kakimind@gmail.com.

What the game stores on your device

The game keeps a handful of values in local storage inside the app. They never leave your device — the game itself makes no network requests of its own.

Stored asWhat it holds
oh_metaStars, moons you own, the moon you have equipped, daily mission progress, and how many times the app has been opened
oh_languageThe language you chose
oh_sound, oh_shakeSound and screen-shake settings
oh_ratedWhether the review prompt has already been offered, so it is not shown again
pt_codeA random code used to label playtest records. It is generated on your device and is not derived from you, your device, or any account
pt_orbitYour scores, run lengths and session times

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, erases all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means there is nothing to restore it from.

What is never collected

The app requests only the permissions the advertising SDK needs: internet and network state, and the Android advertising APIs described below. It does not request any runtime permission from you.

Advertising

Orbit Hop shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen, and optional rewarded video you can choose to watch to continue a run or to collect stars. Rewarded ads are never forced — nothing in the game is locked behind them, and declining one only means you do not get that reward.

To serve and measure those ads, Google receives information from your device. Google, not the developer, decides what that is and how it is used. It typically includes:

The developer does not receive any of this. What is visible to the developer is aggregate reporting in the AdMob dashboard — totals such as impressions and revenue — which does not identify individual players.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies:

Your choices about ads

Other Google services in the app

In-app review. If you tap "Rate this game" in Settings, Google Play opens its own review dialog. Anything you write there goes to Google Play, not to the game. The game is never told whether you wrote a review — only that the dialog was opened, which is why the option is offered once and then stops appearing.

Sharing your score. The share button hands a short line of text — your score — to whichever app you pick from the Android share sheet. The game does not see where it goes, and sends nothing itself. Nothing is shared unless you tap share and choose an app.

Children

Orbit Hop is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this app, contact kakimind@gmail.com and it will be addressed.

Your rights

Because the game stores nothing about you on any server, the developer holds no personal data to look up, export or delete. You control the on-device data directly by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

For the advertising data Google holds, use Google's own controls — the ad settings on your device, the consent screen described above, and My Ad Center. Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws, including access, correction and deletion. For anything within the developer's control, write to the address above.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts doing something this page does not describe, this page is updated before that version is released, and the date at the top changes with it.
